Future Aces Foundation (Hubert H. Carnegie)     

Deadline:  February 4, 2018

The Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation's National Citizenship Award and Scholarship Program provides merit-based $1,000 scholarships to secondary students across Canada who exhibit exemplary citizenship qualities in their communities through extensive community service, volunteerism and humanitarian causes.

 


The Colonel Douglas H. Gunter History Awards

Deadline:  February 23, 2018

Five prizes of $1,000 each are available to students who submit an original work (text, visual art, audio or video production) on the theme:  The Legacy of the First World War.  See website for details.



RBC Students Leading Change Scholarship

Deadline:  Dates vary but start in February

312 scholarships available with amounts ranging from $500 - $10,000.  Some are reserved exclusively for RBC Royal Bank student clients.  Criteria varies, buts students who show a passion to lead and inspire positive change in their community are encouraged to apply.

 

 

RBC Aboriginal Student Awards Program

Deadline:  February 28, 2018

Up to $4,000 and living expenses to support Aboriginal students on the basis of personal and academic achievements as well as financial need. 

 



Hal Rogers Endowment Fund       

Deadline: February 1, 2018      

Recipient must enroll in a post-secondary institution and demonstrate high ideals and qualities of citizenship. He/She will be evaluated on his/her community and school involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada and financial need.  This award is sponsored by the Kinsmen/Kinettes in the amount of $1000.  The number of scholarships available varies from year to year, with 32 available last year.  Visit the website for more information.


 

Terry Fox Humanitarian Award 

Deadline:  February 1, 2018

Recipients must be entering a post-secondary institution, be involved in community service and voluntary humanitarian work. The amount is $28,000 dispersed over 4 years.


 

University of Saskatchewan – Competitive Entrance Awards

Deadline: February 15, 2018

Competitive Entrance Awards include numerous scholarships and bursaries can be accessed by many students with diverse experiences.

You can be considered based on academic achievement, financial need and/or contributions to school and community life. Some awards recognize particular backgrounds, acknowledge contributions to certain clubs or reward achievement in music and athletics.

All entering students are encouraged to apply. To be considered, complete your application for admission by February 15, and fill out and submit the online application for Competitive Entrance Awards in PAWS by March 1.

 


SK Polytechnic Scholarships

Deadline: Varies

Awards are commonly selected on the basis of financial need, academic achievement or very often, a combination of the two. The selection basis for awards can also include volunteer or leadership involvement in your communities and schools.  Amounts vary.
