Amount $10, 000.  Write an essay on the topic of Democracy and Canadian Media. 


Manulife Scholarship

Deadline:  December 15, 2017

Each year, Manulife Financial, awards two $1,000.00 scholarships to the son or daughter of a member. Scholarships assist students with expenses incurred to undertake studies leading to a technician or technologist diploma in a recognized program of study in engineering technology or applied science technology.


Neechie Gear Bursary 

Deadline:  December 31, 2017

Write 1 page describing why you need and deserve the bursar.  Include a reference letter and proof of enrollment.

 

Potash Corp. Aboriginal Youth Financial Management Awards

Deadline:  December 4,, 2017

Aboriginal ancestry students pursing post-secondary who demonstrates an interest in finance or commerce.  5-year scholarship valued at over $5000.

 

SARM 

Deadline: December 17, 2017

A $1,500 Scholarship in Agriculture Safety and Rural Heath for a student with a farming background.  You must be in your gr. 12 year and plan on continuing post-secondary the following year in SK (unless program is not available in SK).  Complete the application form and a 1000-word essay.

 

University of Saskatchewan Best and Brightest

Deadline: December 15 of each year

Last day for admission to be eligible to apply for the Best and Brightest Entrance Scholarships (all colleges).  

 

Government of Canada History Award

Deadline:  December 15, 2017

This award is gving up to $150,000 in prizes.  Application included a submission of an essay, creative fiction or digital content and is open to grades 10, 11 and 12 students.
