Cross-country running is open to all students from grade 7-12 and begins in early September. Generally, our team attends 3-4 meets and practices 2-3 times each week. Middle year's students usually participate in 3 kilometers events while junior students will run 4 kilometers. Senior students will participate in a 5 km run. Students who participate during the season may be eligible for districts. If an athlete finishes within the top ten of participants at districts, then they may be entered in the Provincial Cross-Country competition.
