Local businesses were surveyed to determine if there was an interest in a muffin delivery at coffee time. October, 2008 6 businesses took the opportunity to try Dan\'s muffins. As of the January, 2010 the muffin business has grown to 16 clients with an average of 13 dozen muffins per week. Dan is involved in production, shopping, baking and delivering the product. This business has assisted Dan with many life skills and has been able to meet more people within the community of Unity. Dan was awarded the Special Project Award at the Living Sky School Division Student Hall of Fame in June, 2009 and was recognized by the Unity Chamber of Commerce as the new business in the community. Dan has worked very hard to accomplish his goals and has been a role model to other students. In the future he hopes to run a small coffee shop that sells baking.
