Kindergarten to grade 12 students at Major School were counting their pennies on Friday, March 5th to help raise money for TeleMiracle. The annual Great Penny Race has been a tradition at Major for over 25 years and the students are just as competitive as every. A trophy is given to the homeroom class that brings in the most coins and this year’s winners were the Gr. 6/7/8 class, but everyone agrees the real winners are the people of SK who receive assistance from Kinsmen. Between the Skate-a-thon held in February and the Great Penny Race, the school raised nearly $1000.00. Great work Major School!
