Responsible for:

  • Treaty Education curriculum support materials for all schools
  • Cultural Responsiveness projects in the classroom
  • Activities for Reconciliation and anti-racist education
  • Support to schools as they focus on attendance, graduation rates and credit attainment
  • Building relationships and understanding between nations

 Sherron is an advocate for Indigenizing education, seeking to incorporate First Nations and Métis perspectives directly into classroom curricula, and broaden cultural and racial understanding within our community. Living in Treaty 6 territory, she acknowledges the importance of the land and the connection to identity.  She has enjoyed the river valley, lakes, and hills of North Battleford for over 20 years, with her husband and two children. Her work, both as an educator and an artist, are informed by respect for culture, stories and learning through discovery.​
